1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Buberry Worldwide's platform, services, and applications, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.
2. Accounts
You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.
3. User Content
You retain ownership of the photos, observations, and other content you submit. By submitting content, you grant Buberry Worldwide a non-exclusive, worldwide license to use, display, and distribute that content for the purposes of operating the platform and advancing the citizen science project.
Content you submit must be:
- Your own original work or content you have rights to share.
- Free from copyright or other intellectual property infringement.
- Not harmful, obscene, or otherwise objectionable.
4. Citizen Science Data
Contributions to the citizen science program are made for the benefit of the community. Verified observations and data may be used in ecological research, conservation planning, and educational materials. Attribution will be given where practical.
5. Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to:
- Submit fake, fabricated, or intentionally misleading data.
- Spam, harass, or abuse other users.
- Upload malicious code, viruses, or harmful content.
- Exploit or game the points, XP, or achievement systems through automated or deceptive means.
- Use the platform for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these terms.
6. Gamification
Buberry Worldwide includes gamification features such as XP, points, levels, streaks, and achievements. These features are for engagement and recognition purposes only and have no monetary value. We reserve the right to adjust, recalibrate, or modify the gamification system at any time.
7. Blockchain & Tokens
Buberry Worldwide integrates with the Hedera blockchain. You acknowledge that:
- Blockchain transactions are permanent and irreversible once confirmed.
- You are solely responsible for the security of your wallet and private keys. We cannot recover lost keys.
- Tokens issued on the platform (including BBC, Carbon Points, Soil Health Tokens, Water Tokens, and SGT) are utility tokens used within the Buberry ecosystem. They are not securities, investments, or financial instruments.
8. Content Moderation
We filter submitted content for inappropriate material and reserve the right to remove, flag, or decline any submission that violates these terms or community standards. Moderation decisions are at our sole discretion.
9. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violations of these terms, fraudulent activity, or conduct that harms the platform or its users. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us.
10. Limitation of Liability
The platform is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Buberry Worldwide is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the platform, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of tokens, or service interruptions.
11. Governing Law
These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States.
